Miles to go...

OK - not really - I have actually finished a few things this week, so you will be seeing them soon. Of course if the rest of February is like January it could be June, but I am trying.

Butterfly has a collar. All it needs are seams.

I have some more work done on the armwarmers I am designing.

I started a pair of felted clogs for a KAL. Here we have clog one knit, but the second sole isn't joined yet.

Butterfly has 2 sleeves and a picked up collar. (tonight at knitting after these pics were taken I knit a couple inches, realized there was an error and ripped it back so it looks just like this again.

Pagoda has 3 more repeats.

I started a double knit hat.

I started and frogged a double knit sample.

I frogged Tiger Eye.

I feel like I haven't done any knitting in the last week...and I think it shows.

Butterfly is almost done with sleeve 2 - we are in the sleeve cap now.

Pagoda Lace socks have heels - do at least you can see the progress.

I started a hat for a special teeny tiny baby who needs a warm hat! If I knit anything today it will be to finish it.

And I started work on a new design project.

I have a FO post that I might put up tomorrow. Who knows. I have to be honest, I am tired and not feeling all that well these days. Blame work stress, the cold weather, the lupus, whatever, but I am tired. In fact I have been napping every day after work and skipped knitting tonight in favor of a nap :( - no fun.

oh no!

I sort of fell down this week and had a little spell of castonitis...

first - I don't remember how much I had done on this sleeve last week...I think I am halfway done with it but I haven't touched it in days.

then there is the pair of socks I CO. yeah. Pair. Cause I taught myself to knit 2 socks on magic loop toe up.

and then there is the Ravelry Helpers KAL that they forced me into. Tiger Eye Lace Scarf. I love the yarn, I love the colorway, I love the thought of the colorway with the tigers eye - cause it sort of makes me think of a tiger in the grass.

I am not so sure I love the yarn with the pattern though...

Shoulders Arms and toes

Shoulders - I dropped the first stitches on jeanie.

Arms - finished the first sleeve and started the second for butterfly.

Toes - I have half a foot. I would have more, but I ripped out 3" of sock this week.

Well, the end of time for Christmas knitting anyway!

Luckily, I am almost finished with sock #1 for mom.

And I even managed some work on the Elizabeth Bennet Cabled Cardigan.

No work on the Butterfly this week, but since it missed a pic last week, here you go!

Fly by...

No time for pics as I went to bed at 10 and overslept. Only worked on Butterfly this week anyway. Maybe I will update with some pics tonight, but who knows, I still have to drive home from VA today.

Oops! I fell down! Hard!

Well, very little has been done on the Elizabeth Bennett Cabled Cardigan, but we have a second button band!

Why? Well, I started a new sock for my mom. Here's a toe in the Rio de la Plata I featured on Friday. And that is as far as I got Friday night.

On Saturday I started a cardie for my niece for Christmas.That didn't last long. I can't remember anything about the yarn or the pattern at the moment.

Because it is Norovember and I bought enough to make the Butterfly.

Silk Garden Light in 2032. Look - I finished the back and I CO the right front! Seriously. Noro heals! I am in total love with this colorway!!! I am so glad I broke on Saturday and spent a LOT of money on 11 balls of this stuff!

Look at those stripes and that color!!! How could I resist???

Yeah, I still have it...

The Cardigan has made some progress. One sleeve and one button band to go.

The sekrit sock?

Well, it got frogged back to the toe.

And the December Lights Tam which I started on Saturday - its coming along nicely.

But I have over half a sleeve. I would be further but I had to rip back 10 rows last night because I can't read.

I have another couple FOs to show off still. And a sekrit project that I can't show you pictures of. So you just get the EBCC today. Excuse the crap lighting - I took at at 11:30 last night in the hotel. And since the asscrack of dawn hasn't gotten here yet, there is no light to take pics with yet this morning. I am not even sure I am awake enough to be writing. Although I have already done yoga this morning. oh hell, I am just babbling. must get ready for work.

Wing Wednesday

I don't have much for you this week. Not because I haven't been knitting, but because I have been FINISHING what I have been working on.




I am now 10 chart rows from the end of clue 6. I have been working on this just about every night since last Thursday - just 5 (chart) rows a night.


So look for a lot of FOs coming up. I have like 5 waiting around here to be photographed and posted.

Scary WIPs

First - Happy Halloween!!!

Now...WIPs in order from most recently worked back...

Knittings everlasting bagstopper. I would link but I am lazy. Made from eco cotton spun (organic cotton and recycled soda bottles) in peach. I bought this yarn at SAFF and I really wanted to go ahead and start a project from the massive amounts of yarn I got there.

Winter Gem from Cast On. I started these last Thursday and I am on #2. Ultra Alpaca from Berroco.

I worked on the left sleeve of the EBCC - I got from the blue line down completed last Wednesday at knitting.

Last week I forgot to post a pic of the Mystery Stole (which we all now know is Swan Lake - shut up). So here it is since there hasn't been a pic in awhile - 1/2 way through clue 5. Only 2 1/2 more clues to go.

Whimpy Wednesday

I don't have much today.

Dreamswatch 2 is almost done. I should finish it tonight so I can block it and wear it to SAFF this weekend.

I cast on for Winter Gems from Cast On. I will be frogging this. Why? Well, I am a little further in and like a good knitter I know there will be issues. 1 - I can't get gauge, so I went down a size, which works for stitch count, but not for row. 2 - this is an aran weight yarn and I am knitting it on size 3 needles. Oh - and it is splitty as all get out. So, a frogging we will go!!!

ETA: ummmm...I just realized something...I forgot about the Mystery Stole. I didn't take a picture of it and at this point I will just wait until next week. But I am now half way through clue 5. I worked on it over the weekend - GO ME! And I am down to only 3 active WIPs. Fifi is officially grounded until spring when I will finish and wear her. And I have 5, yes 5 FOs sitting in various forms of blocking and waiting to be photographed and posted. I was a VERY busy knitter last week.

So much to see...
