This weekend I needed a quick knit. Yes, I know I had just finished the BSJ, but I needed something that would be done quick and I could feel good about!
Yes, I am a giant dork!
Pattern: Passin The Dress Code by Champaign Maker (available at
Charlotte Yarn!)
Yarn: Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Superchunky - 2 skeins - I have some left over
Needles: US 10 and 11
Notions: Ribbon in ivory
Mods: None
Notes: This is a SUPER fast knit. I cast on at like 7 and was done in a couple hours on Saturday night. I would totally knit this as a quick gift for someone. Although at $30 for the yarn, I better actually like that someone.
Cristi took this pic for me at knitting last night (notice I managed to wear something that wouldn't clash - yeah - I thought ahead!!) and decided that this was the perfect FO pic. I think that I looked terrible in all of them. I had a great hair day UNTIL I got to knitting. Go figure!

I am going to post my F.O. too this weekend! :op
I decided to finally pull out that yarn and pattern and knit it up! Haha!
I agree - I SO needed a successful knit right about now and confess that is why I dusted it off! HAHA!
My ribbon is sitting here now!
I didn't even notice the hair until you said something. I was too busy thinking "what's so funny?"
Also, I am stuck going to a 50th birthday party for a friend's mom, so I won't be able to make it Saturday. I also get to play Dogsitter for the weekend while the Hubby goes out of town for beer festival. Trust me I would so rather be knitting with you guys.
Hey!! Glad you finished it! I absolutely love my capelet!! I think I want another in the color you have now!!! Many blessings this weekend!!!
I love that pic! Better than a staged pic any day!
